The summer festival season is in full swing in southeastern Wisconsin, and at the heart of the festivities is Taste of Lake Country. Les Paul: Wizard of Waukesha Exhibit

A must-see destination for music lovers and curiosity seekers, the exhibit chronicles how Lester Polsfuss became the legendary innovator and guitar hero Les Paul. Credited for the birth of Rock n’ Roll, Les’ experimentations with finding the perfect sound led to his invention of the solid body electric guitar and the development of technology and recording techniques that set the standard in the music industry.

Waukesha GuitarTown

Gibson Guitar has chosen the birth and resting place of guitar legend Les Paul, for it’s acclaimed GuitarTown community arts project. Featuring 10-ft. fiberglass Gibson Les Paul model guitars, playable regular sized guitars and murals all artistically designed by Wisconsin visa artists, this place really rocks.

Pewaukee Lake Water Sporting
